Dr. George U. Char, MD
Dr. George Char earned his medical degree and completed his residency training at George Washington University Medical School. Prior to his residency training, he finished an internship at Washington Hospital Center.
As an ophthalmologist, Dr. Char provides the full spectrum of eye care and surgery. He treats a variety of eye diseases, including diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, and dry eyes. Dr. Char has a wealth of experience in the field and caters to the needs of every patient, regardless of their age, condition, and eye care needs. His personalized approach to patient care allows him to customize treatment plans with attention to individual needs and preferences.
Dr. Char has published numerous articles in the field of neuropharmacology and is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, DC Metropolitan Society of Ophthalmology, and Virginia Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
Dr. Maryam Nazemzadeh, M.D
Dr. Maryam Nazemzadeh, M.D. – is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in oculoplastic and orbital surgery. She joined Loudoun Eye Care in 2021. Dr. Nazemzadeh is ASOPRS (American Academy of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery) certified and completed a highly competitive and sought after fellowship after her residency training in oculofacial plastic surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She was trained in both pediatric and adult oculofacial plastic surgery, a very unique combination. She was also trained in cosmetic oculofacial plastic surgery and has become an expert/master injector and cosmetic surgeon. She is one of the most sought after plastic surgeons and injectors in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Dr. Nazemzadeh aka "Dr. Naz" graduated at the top 2% of her class at The George Washington University University, where she majored in Spanish Language and Literature. She went on to obtain a medical degree at The George Washington University School of Medicine, where she graduated among the top of her class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at The George Washington University, where she served as chief resident during her last year.
